This Radio slavetransmitter withtwo receiveris designed and made by Fotodiox with LOW triggering voltage (5.1v) of the compact flash using a radio signal. Its four channeled designmakes it reliable and easy to operate. The low voltage is safe for digital camera; i.e. Canon 1d, 1ds, 20d, and digital Rebel, cameras that may be harmed by high voltage triggers.Reciever works with all flash units, including Canon speedlites(majority of the receivers on eBay does not work with Canon speedlite).

The transmitter, powered by a 23A 12-volt (pre-installed) battery, has a standard hot shoe mount that can be mounted on camera’s hot shoe. Most cameras have hot shoe mount except Minolta Maxxum, which needs a hot shoe adapter to work with this kit. This transmitter also has a standard PC connection for cameras connecting with PC cords. The PC connection is especially useful for connection to a flash meter, enabling flash meter to become wireless. The test button is for triggering portable compact flash units without firing camera.

The tworeceivers included with the kit allow the operation oftwo portable compact flash units mounted on a tripod to be triggered by the transmitter on the camera, basically operating a compact flash off camera. The receiver usestwo AAAbattery. (Additional receivers can be purchased separately.)
