This one-touch lock type remote control switch, designed by Nova Photo, can be connected to the remote control socket of the camera. It enables you to release the shutter away from the camera, eliminating camera shake problems. Handy for taking pictures of subjects that are difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time exposure.

Instruction

Remove the remote control socket cover on the camera.
Insert the remote switch plug into the remote control socket on the camera.

Press the plug firmly into the socket by pressing the black area at the back of the plug. If the plug is inserted by holding only the silver area, the plug may not lock into position and the remote control will not work properly.
To remove the plug, grasp the silver area of the plug and pull it out of the socket.

The release button uses a two-step system. Press the release button halfway to focus the subject, then adjust the shutter speed and exposure. Press the button fully to release the shutter and take the picture.
- While pressing the release button fully, slide it in the direction of the arrow to lock the shutter. This is particularly useful for BULB function photography.
